I-POD TOUCH HUB
The iPod Touch is a portable pocket computer made by Apple Inc. with a multi touch screen, an audio-video player & an internet browser. INDIA’S FIRST GOOGLE-POWERED SCHOOL NETWORK
Universal is the first school educational network in India to subscribe to the Google Apps suite for our schools. This allows all staff and learners to have their own personalised home page and email IDs on the school domain name. This also allows the school administration to blog/tweet/publish all circulars, schedules and news items on the school website. Parents can subscribe to email alerts, tweets, buzzes and feeds via the website to keep in touch with the latest happenings in the school.
EDUCATIONAL CABLE SYSTEM
Digital educational content and live presentation are telecasted in all class rooms.
Our computer laboratory is the right place for children to become technologically savy. We have made adequate provisions so that every child will always have a dedicated computer to work on. Children use it to complete their assignments, projects and learn new applications.
The pre-eminence of books as the source and repository of knowledge is increasingly being challenged by the Internet and eBooks. In our wi-fi facility students are exposed to a variety of eBooks in the eLibrary section of the school. Your child is allowed to surf the net under adult supervision and research for work related to his projects and subjects of study. To provide hassle free connectivity our premises is fully wi-fi enabled.
AUDIO VISUAL CLASSROOM SYSTEMS
We are the first group of educational institutions to employ Audio Visual Digital Classroom Systems in all our classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with plasma screens. On these screens animated illustrations and interpretations of the studied topics are shown to the children.
All class rooms and other learning spaces have a Plasma TV that is used by teachers for presentation of rich-media learning materials & real-time annotation.
Our school provides an innovative and convenient service called ePhotos. ePhotos helps parents view, share and print their child’s latest school photos over the internet from the comfort of their homes, offices or nearest cyber cafes.
Apart from photo prints, parents can also order gift items like posters, t-shirts or mugs with their child’s photos on them. Photos or gift items can be shipped anywhere in the world. Photos can also be shared on popular social networks or through email easily.

Therefore, we provide a variety of learning experiences to tap the learners’ full potential and identify the learning needs of students.
At the Primary Grade Levels, we conduct periodic Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation through written and activity based assignments planned based on the various learning experiences enjoyed by the students during the teaching learning sessions.

SHIAMAK DAVAR’S DANCE EDUCATION (SDE)
Universal has introduced the SDE – a specially developed programme for school children and taught by highly qualified, skilled and trained SDIPA instructors. SDE’s objective is to offer learners an opportunity to learn dance with special focus on styles and techniques.
The programme draws from Jazz techniques, Ballet exercises, Indian dance forms, Yoga, Physical Training Disciplines, Dance Therapy activities and the Theatre Arts to offer students an outlet for personal growth and creative expression.
Dance is a therapeutic activity, since it enables a direct expression of emotions and thoughts that learners may not be able to otherwise express. Although the most important essence of dance is creative expression and fun, the dance class is structured to improve the following: Fitness levels, Confidence, Concentration, Discipline, Posture, Body Awareness, Attitude, Appetite, Memory, Will Power, Communication skills, Team-spirit, Creativity and thus, all round development.
